About This Project

40 Nights Photography is teaming up with Community Action to create 40 Nights in Lincoln: Surviving Poverty. This is a visual project featuring still photos from Nathan Chandler and video by Robby Defrain.

The project will debut at Bourbon Theater the evening of April 8, and then begin a month-long run at at Noyes Art Gallery on May 7 at 5 p.m.

This is not your typical "social awareness" project -- the 40 Nights Project will arm you with simple steps you can follow to take action. You'll walk away with ideas for contributing in small ways that make a big difference our community.

Media Coverage of Surviving Poverty

The press is running a variety of stories on this project.

And here's a story from the Daily Nebraskan.

Also, the media folks at Community Action have picked up on the story and listed it here.

A reminder that the first of two events is this Thursday at Bourbon Theater at 6 p.m.!

Admission is free.
